Neil Adebowale

Independents Chartered Insurance

Neil Adebowale is director of Independents, the award-winning specialist Chartered Insurance Broker.  His 10 years at Independents has focused on close work with leisure operators including the co-authoring of a gym specific risk management guide , assisting operators in that sector with injury prevention and defensibility.

Since the growth of the trampoline park sector in the UK, the knowledge of other leisure operations has been invaluable as a base of knowledge.  Furthermore Neil has travelled to the US to meet with operators, insurance brokers and manufacturers to gain further insight into the trampoline park market.  Independents have arranged insurances for over 75 trampoline parks across the UK.

Neil now sits on the IATP UK Subcommittee and was involved in the writing of PAS 5000 being a member of the BSI Steering Group, attending all meetings for drafting of the standard.

 

 

Michael Amaro

Founding Partner - Amaro Baldwin LLP

Michael L. Amaro is a founding partner of Amaro | Baldwin LLP, and has been representing clients in the  amusement, sports, recreation, and leisure industries for 34 years.  Such clients include trampoline parks, amusement parks, carnivals, water parks, family fun centers, race and go-kart tracks, bowling centers, miniature golf facilities, circuses, white water rafting companies, ice and roller skating facilities, health and fitness clubs, equestrian facilities, outfitters and guides, professional sports teams, and concert venues. He is also a founding member of the International Amusement and Leisure Defense Association (IALDA), a group of nationwide attorneys and claims professionals that are extensively involved in the recreation and amusement industries. In his spare time, he spends time in his Sonoma Vineyard, making award winning Cabernet Sauvignon.

 

Rudie D. Baldwin

Rudie D. Baldwin is a founding partner of Amaro | Baldwin LLP.  His practice, for past 12 years, has been devoted to representing clients in the amusement, entertainment and action-sport industries. Mr. Baldwin received his Juris Doctorate degree from Southwestern University School of Law in 2006, completing his degree in two years by participating in the rigorous SCALE program. The first 9 years of his practice was spent as a Senior Associate of Prindle, Amaro, Goetz, Hillyard, Barnes & Reinholtz LLP; and he helped form Amaro | Baldwin LLP in January of 2016. In his spare time Mr. Baldwin is an avid surfer and musician.  He has played notable venues such as House of Blues, The Viper Room and Key Club; and his band was named one of the “Hot 100 Unsigned Live Bands of 2014” in Music Connection Magazine.

 

Nick Booth

Managing Director & Owner - Continental Sports Ltd. 

Nick is the Managing Director and owner of Continental Sports Ltd of the UK - a company with a 100,00 square feet manufacturing facility and 115 employees in the UK. Continental is the largest UK manufacture of equipment for sports halls, gymnastics, physical education and competition trampolining. Since 2015 Continental have developed a range of products for trampoline parks and have now manufactured and installed the trampolines, Ninja Warrior Courses and innovative elements such as Trampoline Volleyball Courts in 25 parks across the UK.

 

Peter Brown

Managing Director - Freedome Park

Peter has been involved in the adventurous activity industry since 1995, working in water sports, mountain environments and family entertainment facilities since 2004. Peter serves as the IATP UK Sub-Committee Chair leading the charge on the design and implementation of a Bristish Standard ensuring that parks in the UK operate at optimally safe levels. He recently joined the Sky Zone team and became managing director of UK brand Freedome Park.

I am a Partner Producer at Hotchkiss Insurance Agency's (HIA) Dallas headquarters. Before joining HIA in 2010, I distinguished myself as the President and owner of Conner Communities, Inc., a residential and light commercial construction company.

My vocational passion lies in my commitment to HIA’s Commercial Insurance Division, developing insurance programs that specifically address the unique needs of businesses in the family entertainment, real estate, construction, energy, manufacturing, franchise and industrial sectors.  To further meet the needs of my clients, I work extensively with HIA’s benefits department to develop alternative, cost controlled employee benefits programs. Committed to industry education, I have earned the insurance industry’s Certified Insurance Counselor and Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) designations, and I am a General Lines Agent for Property, Casualty, Life and Health.  Furthermore, I am finalizing the certification process to be become a Certified Risk Manager (CRM). I am an active member of the Greater Fort Worth Builders Association and also serve on the Advisory Board of the Fort Worth Film Commission.  I currently serve as Chairman of the “Hotchkiss Helps” Charitable Committee and lead a dynamic group of 12 members who plan and executive giving opportunities within and outside of our Agency throughout the year. I attended Texas A&M University, where I received my BBA in Business Administration- Finance.  Born in Lufkin, Texas, I currently reside in Fort Worth, Texas with my wife and six children. Doug B. Flora

Haas & Wilkerson Insurance

Doug is a Senior Producer at Haas & Wilkerson Insurance and lives in Kansas City. He began his insurance career in 1995 starting his first commercial nationwide insurance program for the roller skating rink industry at Welsch, Flatness & Lutz in St. Louis.  In 1997 Haas & Wilkerson bought the roller skating insurance program recognizing Doug's ability to develop and manage the program insurance business.  In 2009 Doug was instrumental in securing the newly launched World Waterpark Association Insurance Program.  He currently focuses his attention on the IATP Insurance Program Initiative. 

Doug's strong understanding and knowledge of the industry has lead him to various opportunities to speak at trade shows, testify before State Legislative Committees and hold positions on the Board of Directors of AIMS.

 

Barbara Flynn

President - People First Inc.

Barbara Flynn is the President of People First and has been in the Human Resource field for over 30 years.  Barbara received her Master’s Degree in Human Resources from Nova Southeastern University.  She is a Senior Professional Human Resource with both the Society of Human Resource Management and the Human Resource Certification Institute.

In addition to her People First duties she is also an Adjunct Professor at Florida Atlantic University and Barry University where she teaches various Human Resource and Business Management courses. 

Prior to establishing People First, Barbara was co-owner of a high-fashion jewelry manufacturing company based in New York.  During her tenure there, she established a Sales office in London and a Manufacturing facility in the Philippines.  She brings a lot to the table and has a thorough understanding of what it takes to run a business.  Her motto says it all:  “People First… where everything begins and ends with people”.

 

Caleb Hailey

Best American Trampolines

 

Caleb Hailey joined the Best American Trampolines (BAT) team in 2015 as the Director of Project Management and has since overseen the planning and execution of all BAT projects. His hand on approach, prior experience as the Director of Operations at a trampoline park, and the ability to assist BAT clients with the planning of their facility from initial concept to execution has made him an integral part of the BAT team who is recognized as a trampoline park industry expert.

 

Ken Handler

Simon Heap

Simon is a highly experienced product designer and entrepreneur, with a record of creating successful market leading products and founding startups, including And Design, Design for Sport, SeeOutside and Rugged Interactive. As head of Design for Sport he has worked with many elite athletes, leading companies and Olympic teams so a development into manufacture was a natural progression. Simon founded Rugged Interactive in 2009 and it has established a strong reputation in Fitness, Elite sport, Schools and recently Trampoline Parks. Along with co-owner Harry Stevens Simon has built the business rapidly and now supplies companies and individuals around the world. The unique aspects of Rugged Interactive's products including compelling and fun activities, brand-ability and robustness has contributed to widespread use of FreeStyle Duo's, TrailBlazer and High 9 products throughout the UK and beyond.


Sherry Howell

Sherry Howell serves as the Director of Client Success for CenterEdge Software and develops tools and training materials to improve the day to day operations of clients in the amusement and family entertainment center industries.  She has been training for nearly eight years and has spent the last several years working with amusement and family entertainment center staff all over the country.  Besides the IATP, she has also spoken at conventions and education seminars in the US and abroad including IAAPA and IAAPA Europe. 

 

 

Bob Ito

Director of Safety Engineering - Ideal3, LLC

Bob began his career as a World History teacher and Boys Gymnastic Coach in Illinois at a suburban high school.  He started one of the largest children's competitive and recreation programs in the USA for the Wilmette Park District. 

Bob has published two books on gymnastics and tumbling and served as the Head Coach for the University of Washington Women's Gymnastics Team from 1980 to 1990.  He is an expert witness in gymnastics injury cases and has owned and operated private gymnastics clubs. 


Shawn Iverson

The Insurance Center Utah 

Shawn has been in the insurance business for 20 years and has sat on the state board of NAIFA (life underwriters), NAHU (health underwriters) and currently sits on the state board of "The Big I" going up the chairs to be President.  He is has been a CIC (certified insurance counselor) since 1999 and continues every year to maintain his certification.  Shawn is active in teaching a variety of continuing education classes to insurance agents in Utah and has taught management classes for community managers and HOA board members in Nevada.


Mike Jacki

Partner - TAAG

Mike has been in+mately involved with Trampoline, Gymnastics, Cheerleading, Parkour, and Action Sports and related activi+es his entire professional career. Mike was inducted into USA Gymnastics Hall of Fame in 2004.

As President of USA Gymnastics, he started the USA Gymnastics Safety and Certification Program in 1985, which has become the model for the Olympic Sports Industry. He also helped establish the International Cheer Union, the International Federation for Competitive Cheerleading, which now boasts annual World and Continental Championships as well more than 100 participating countries. Mike has worked for more than 40 years with insurance companies, litigator’s and the legal community as well as safety and risk management experts in the study and defense of sports facilities, Trampoline and youth entertainment centers, Gymnastics and Cheer clubs and related businesses. He is also the former President of the US Ski and Snowboard Team, the United States Association of Independent Gymnastics Clubs and the National Association of Women’s Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches and served for more than a decade on the Board of Directors of the United States Olympic Committee.

Recently Mike co-created the Non-Profit TAAG (Trampoline & Adventure Advisory Group), which certifies and educates supervisors and staff on safer operations and Risk Management in parks.

 

Chris Kettman

Sky High Sports

Chris Kettmann has been deeply involved in the trampoline park industry working for Sky High Sports since January 2009, since then he has helped open, build, and train over 17 parks. Chris has also spent a great deal of time developing Sky High’s operations audit, working to perfect both the audit, and by doing so, perfecting the operations of all Sky High parks.

Josh Liebman

With more than 12 years of experience in the Attractions Industry, Joshua specializes in guest experience training, feedback analysis, mystery shopping, efficiency enhancements, and quality assurance consulting.  Joshua’s expertise includes harnessing guest satisfaction and converting it to loyalty, along with recovering from some of the most complex service failure scenarios. Joshua’s role as Director of Business Development for Amusement Advantage, Inc. has enabled numerous attractions to improve how they set a proper expectation for their guests, meet and exceed that expectation, and then follow through by acting on the experience to increase repeat visitation and positive word of mouth.

Joshua’s experience in the Attractions Industry includes 12 years of attractions operations, guest service communications, retail management, facility operations, and operational consulting.  Joshua has worked for some of the top attraction operators in the world, including, but not limited to Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, Merlin Entertainments, and Cedar Fair.  Joshua has been integral to the openings of multiple attractions in various leadership capacities.  His educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Theme Parks and Attractions Management, along with a Master’s Degree in Hospitality & Tourism, both from the University of Central Florida’s Rosen College of Hospitality Management.

Amusement Advantage was founded in 1996 and is based in Arvada, CO.  Amusement Advantage works with over 500 attractions across the US and Canada, and is the only mystery shop company that works exclusively with the Attractions Industry.  Joshua launched Amusement Advantage’s consulting division in 2015, offering a variety of new programs and services that help attractions improve their guest experience and their reputation within the industry.


Shoshanna Moody, M.A.

General Manager - House of Air

Shoshanna brings a unique background to the trampoline park industry.  Begining her career in science with a Bachelors in Biology and a Masters in Exercise Physiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Shoshanna moved to the west coast and transitioned to commercial fitness, recreation and sports business to House of Air.  After working foryears as a Group Exercise and Personal Training Program Manager in San Francisco, Shoshanna took on a higher leadership role as Assistant General Manager of Club One Fitness.  She held certifications from the American College of Sports Medicine and she worked as an IHRSA Master Presenter for Krankcycle and Livestrong Indoor Cycling Group.  Shoshanna additionally sought continuing professional education in Financial Accounting at U.C. Berkley.  She took the helm at House of Air Trampoline Park in 2011.  SInce then, she has worked closelty with HOA's Founders to build HOA's operational proceedures, risk management and legal policies, preventative maintenance guidelines, instuctor training and staff development, the House of Air International Franchise Program and everything in between!  Shoshanna fundementally believes that effective business operations must balance strict procedural guidelines with regular process audits and clarity in up-and down communication.  Additionally, she believes that effective staff operations must balance in-depth continual training with a deep understanding of human needs.  In her free time she enjoys training Capoeira (a Brazilian Martial Art), practicing languages, samba dancing and studying the sociological implications of various cultural institutions. 

 

Joris Naalden

Jump XL's CEO

 

Joris Naalden, 31, was recently appointed as Jump XL's new CEO to lead the professionalization and rapid expansion of the network.  The presentation given by Joris is based on research performed by the supplier of Jump XL, ELI Play.  He has obtained the title Master of Law. Before he started with Jump XL, he worked as a strategy consultant in corporate banking, along with being an attorney and tax adviser for various companies.

 

Dian Nissen, M.S.

CEO - Nissen Trampoline, LLC

A multiple world-title trampoline athlete and competitor, multiple U.S. Women’s Trampoline champion, AAU All-American, health and fitness expert, and entrepreneur. She is the daughter of George Nissen, the inventor of the modern-day trampoline. Dian's playful sobriquet, Trampoline Diva, embodies her lifelong association with the trampoline beginning with her early childhood and continuing through to her years as a world-class trampoline champion and coach. Along with her father and the support of his company, the Nissen Corporation, which at the time was the world's largest manufacturer of gymnastics equipment in the world, she promoted her father's invention of the trampoline and the sport of trampolining by performing hundreds of shows in the United States and around the world, and competing in national and international trampoline competitions. Dian is the CEO of Nissen Trampoline, LLC and the Director of the Nissen Trampoline Academy located in San Diego, California. She is a member of USA Gymnastics and a certified USAG coach specializing in Trampoline, Synchronized Trampoline and Double Mini-Trampoline.  Dian Nissen is a founding member of the Trampoline & Adventures Advisory Group whose purpose is to actively work within the trampoline park industry to promote and create awareness of trampoline safety and risk management through the creation of an industry-wide training and certification program. She is also a member of ASTM International and the Trampoline Court Task Group involved with setting safety standards to protect consumers and developing construction standards for manufacturers.  Dian is on the Board of Directors for the World Acrobatic Society whose purpose is to foster the growth, development and safety of various acrobatic disciplines along with preserving their histories. Dian continues to bear the torch that her father, George Nissen, carried for his entire life— promoting the joy of jumping on trampolines.   


Jeff Platt

President & CEO - Sky Zone

Jeff Platt graduated from Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis in 2006 with a BS in Marketing and Entrepreneurship. While still in school, Platt opened up the second Sky Zone location in Chesterfield, MO. Passionate about bringing the concept of “active fun” to more people, after two and a half years learning the business, Platt opened the third location in Sacramento in 2008, and began franchising in 2009.

Platt has been serving as the President & CEO of Sky Zone since 2011 and has led the effort to expand Sky Zone into a global brand operating in 9 countries with more than 180 locations, and $300m+ in global revenue. Wanting to connect with Team Members, Platt did a stint on Undercover Boss in 2013 as the youngest CEO to every appear on the show. He continues to look to the 10,000+ Team Members worldwide to help innovate and evolve the business and credits them with many of the attractions you see today in parks.

Marc Rabinoff

Dr. Marc A. Rabinoff is Professor Emeritus, Human Performance, and Sport at Metropolitan State College of Denver (now Metropolitan State University of Denver). He has taught human movement related classes for 42 years and taught and directed a program he developed in 1995 called “Sport Industry Operations.” This program deals with the “business side of sport” and prepares students to be employed at professional sport facilities, work in risk management, and sport insurance/liability and stadium operations. Dr. Rabinoff has served MSCD as Department Chair of the Human Performance and Sport Department, Associate Dean, School of Professional Studies, and Men’s’ Athletic Director over his 35 year career at MSCD, retiring in May 2012 as Professor Emeritus.

Dr. Rabinoff is also president, Rabinoff Consulting Services, Inc. of Littleton, Colorado, a Sport and Fitness/Leisure Operations and Risk Management Company devoted to providing and raising the standards of care to professionals in this discipline. Dr. Rabinoff is Board Certified as a Forensic Examiner with the American Board of Forensic Examiners, and holds Diplomate status as well as being an elected Fellow in the American College of Forensic Examiners.  Dr. Rabinoff has taught the Ethics seminars and the CFC(Certified Forensic Experts) courses for the ACFE and is a co- author of the book, “The Forensic Experts Guide to Litigation: The Anatomy of a Lawsuit”. Dr. Rabinoff has been retained as an expert in over 450 litigations since 1980, and integrated this work into his classes so his students can get real life data on what he calls the “Dark Side of Sport and Leisure”. He has authored many articles, book chapters and has been an invited speaker at numerous national conferences to present sessions on fitness/ exercise equipment fraud, dangers of backyard trampolines and sport related injuries as well as the Ethics of Forensic Examiners. He has published a book, entitled,” The Dark Side of Sports: A Personal Journey through a Sports Liability Lawsuit-Book One”, published by Bigger, Faster, Stronger Magazine, Salt Lake City, Utah, January 2009 as well as writing a column entitled “The Dark Side of Sports” for Bigger Faster Stronger Magazine from 2004-2012 for Physical Educators and Athletic department administrators and coaches at the high school and college levels of sport. He has appeared on ABC 20-20, GoodMorning America, the Today Show, Oprah Winfrey, MSNBC, and Fox News as an advocate for consumer safety in sport and exercise. He was the featured expert in an article in Men’s Journal Magazine, May 2002 on” Infomercial Product Rip Offs”. His work on the “Ab Energizer” for Fox News in May 2002 in part lead the FTC to file suit against the three biggest Ab Stimulator gadgets which ripped off millions of consumers. His latest national media appearances were on April 3, 2008 on CBS Early Show, on “Unqualified Personal Trainers and Lawsuits Resulting From Bad Training Advice and Programs” and “Tips for Parents on Purchasing and Using Backyard Trampolines, aired June 14, 2012 on Fox and Friends national cable TV. Since 1984 to the present, Dr. Rabinoff has been a featured expert in numerous articles in many professional and lay journals. Since 2004 to present he has written or was quoted in “Bigger Faster Stronger Magazine”, (numerous times) and writes the regular column the “Dark Side of Sports”. This is a publication dedicated to teaching weight training and conditioning safely and appropriately geared to High School and College coaches. Dr. Rabinoff was a featured expert in “Smart Money” magazine in an article entitled “10 Things Your Fitness Club Won’t Tell You” by Resha Kapadia, January 2007 and in the New York Times in an article entitled “Those who can do and those who retire teach” by Abby Ellin, April 12, 2007 about personal trainers who were athletes and now over night are personal trainers with no academic training. He has consulted to the media in March 2009 in Woman’s Health Magazine in an article entitled: Get More from your Trainer by Dimity McDowell, and for a news article May 18, 2009, in an article on trampolines for exercise and dangers of backyard trampolines, Denver Post, by Linda Buch. In 2012 Dr. Rabinoff consulted to the Springfield Patch publication on dangers of backyard trampolines and what to look for in a good trampoline. Dr. Rabinoff presently, since 2011, consults to the trampoline court industry and to gymnastic facilities for safety and operational standards of care, while serving on ASTM (American Society for Testing Materials) committees for consumer trampolines, trampoline courts and fitness and exercise equipment standards of care.

Dr. Marc A. Rabinoff is Professor Emeritus, Human Performance, and Sport at Metropolitan State College of Denver (now Metropolitan State University of Denver). He has taught human movement related classes for 42 years and taught and directed a program he developed in 1995 called “Sport Industry Operations.” This program deals with the “business side of sport” and prepares students to be employed at professional sport facilities, work in risk management, and sport insurance/liability and stadium operations. Dr. Rabinoff has served MSCD as Department Chair of the Human Performance and Sport Department, Associate Dean, School of Professional Studies, and Men’s’ Athletic Director over his 35 year career at MSCD, retiring in May 2012 as Professor Emeritus. 

 

Jerry Raymond 

Co-Founder - Sky High Sports 

 

In 2006, Jerry Raymond, along with his brother Ron, founded Sky High Sports. Since then, Sky High has grown to 15 locations across the US and has been a proven industry innovator.

Past Chairman of the IATP Jerry continues to serve on the IATP board in his role as Past Chair. Jerry is a founding member of the IATP and member of the F24.61 Trampoline Court Task Group which wrote the ASTM worldwide trampoline park standards.


 

Ed Reed

VP of Construction - JumpStreet

Ed has been involved in the indoor trampoline park industry since 2008. He is one of the founding board members of IATP and an original member of the ASTM subcommittee that developed F2970-13 for the design, manufacture and installation of indoor trampoline parks. Ed currently serves as the Vice Chair of the ASTM Task Group. He currently serves as the IATP Secretary-Treasurer and Certification Chair. Mr. Reed worked diligently to assist in the development of IATP Service Tech Certification. He has overseen the expansion and construction of 20 Jumpstreet locations in 8 states, and has been instrumental in developing policy and negotiating trampoline park regulation in several states.   

 

Matt Rehnstrom

VP of Sales, Extreme Engineering

 

After his term with the US Air Force, Matt Rehnstrom returned home to Northern California to finish his fire science degree. Through this time Matt grew a passion to both hospitality and food and beverage industries.  He helped open restaurants in Northern California before transitioning his communication skills to sales.  With extensive knowledge in service and hospitality he started working for Extreme Engineering learning the manufacturing process of building and designing adventure rides.  He was then quickly promoted to sales account manager overseeing sales for Extreme Engineering.  For 10 years Matt has opened new emerging markets within family entertainment to include huge successes in the trampoline market with products in nearly 100 locations domestically.

 

Dave Schaeffer

Co-Founder - House of Air

In 2010 Dave made use of his extensive background in action sports and trampoline instruction to open House of Air, an indoor trampoline park located in a historic military aircraft hanger in the Presidio of San Francisco.  Since then, House of Air has continued to be a pioneer and innovator in trampoline training and instruction and has opened several additional parks in the US and overseas.  Dave currently serves as Chairman of both the ASTM subcommittee on trampoline courts and the International Association of Trampoline Parks (IATP). He enjoys surfing and ice cream, but not at the same time. 


Curt Skallerup

President & CEO, Altitude Trampoline Park

Altitude Trampoline Park currently operates forty-five facilities in seven different countries with thirty-two in construction and thirty additional stores to be opened in 2018/2019.  Before co-founding Altitude Trampoline Park, Curt spent thirty years as Officer and Vice President of Operations, Rental Services and Sales for Ryder Systems. Curt led the Americas and Europe.  He was responsible for over $3.5 billion and over 25,000 personnel. After retiring from Ryder, he was President and CEO of a roofing supply company and SVP of HAAS Chemical, both of which he turned around and later sold.

Curt is originally from Chicago, Illinois and is a graduate of Illinois State University with a B.S in Finance.  He then went on to pursue his Masters in Finance studies at Keller University.

 

Philip Slaggert

Vice President of Risk Management, Sky Zone Franchise Group

Mr. Slaggert has 30 years of experience in the amusement and entertainment industry.  In addition to serving as the IATP Education Committee Chair, Mr. Slaggert serves as a member of Mobile Midway Safety Institute, LLC. in Stuart, FL.  He is instrumental in the development and implementation of industry specific training programs for portable amusement rides, family entertainment centers, carnivals, rental companies, haunted attractions and special events. Having served on a number of committees, he currently remains involved with the ASTM F-24 Committee for Amusement Rides and Devices, ASTM F-24.60 Task Group on revisions to F-2374 Industry Standard for Inflatable Amusement Devices, Task Group on Ariel Adventure Courses, Task Group on Trampoline Courses and serves as the ASTM F-24.60 Subcommittee Secretary.  In 2013 Mr. Slaggert received the ASTM F24 Award for extraordinary efforts resulting in the development of the F2970 Standard Practice for Trampoline Courts.


Beth Standlee

CEO, Trainertainment

Sue Wilson

Co-Founder, Rockin' Jump                                                                                   

A Connecticut native, Sue Wilson received her BA from California State Univesity-Long Beach. In 2011 Sue jumped at the opportunity to vacate the corporate world and leverage over 20 years sales experience to help launch the ROCKIN’ Jump franchise Group. She has since taken on a variety of roles at Rockin’ Jump-from managing the street team events, handling corporate sales, creating the call center, and onboarding the new franchisees. Sue currently runs the vendor management as well as assisting with the real estate process for new franchisees. She is a regular contributor to the F2970-13 Sub Task group- a small group of industry professionals who have written and published a safety standard through ASTM international. In 2014, Sue was voted onto the Board of Directors of the IATP (International Association of Trampoline Parks). She is one of nine board members and is currently the Secretary/Treasurer. Sue maintains a fit and fabulous lifestyle and loves travel and live music venues.

 

Suzanne Wolfe Jewell

VP Operations & Safety - Trampolines Unlimited, Inc.

Suzanne Wolfe Jewell has been involved in gymnastics and trampoling as a gymnast, coach and gym owner since 1974, and is a professional member of USA Gymnastics.  Her knowledge of what children and teens find fun, combined with her knowledge of safety and equipment enables her to create functional layouts and innovations for Trampolines Unlimited, Inc. as their Senior Designer.

Suzanne is also the Risk Management Lead, authoring multiple manuals and running "Spring Training" boot camps for new TUI trampoline park owners, superviosrs and staff, teaching them about all aspects of running top-notch, less risk facilities. Suzanne alos works with their location Emergency Medical Responsers and staff on emergncy action plans which include foam pit, airbag and trampoline extraction drills.

She operates a trampoline park in Santa Barbara, CA called Cloud 10 Jump Club which also has a seperate trampoline and gymnastic training center. This park is a research and development facility for her family's core company, Trampolines Unlimited, (TUI) which designs, manufactures and installs custom trampoline parks as well as equipment for gymnastic schools and the family entertainment industry since 1975.  Suzanne is the Children's Zones lead for the ASTM F2970 Trampoline Court Task Groupsince 2011 and is the Facility Operations Chair for IATP for which she is a founding member.  Recently Suzanne co-created the non-profit TAAG (Trampoline & Adventure Advisory Group), which certifies andeducates supervisors and staff on safer operations and risk management. Suzanne's passion for this industry, as well as creating ways for patrons to jump safer and smarter is what inspires her to bounce out of bed every day!

 

 

Steve Young 

 

Co-Owner/VP at Risk Management LLC.  Over 30 years industry experience both on the carrier side (CNA Insurance) and agent/agency owner.  I have specialized in insuring indoor trampoline parks full time for the past 6 years.  Our agency currently insures about 100 parks across the US for both franchise and independently owned/operated parks.  In addition to several carrier exclusive programs that we have for parks, we also regularly keep in touch with industry suppliers and other experts to stay on top of this ever changing industry.
